About me

I am a recent graduate of Book Arts & Design at London College of Communication, University Arts London.

Book Arts involves great many different subjects; it explores a variety of artistic expression means: printing, photography, typography, letterpress and many more. Therefore I am a diverse artist; my interests include photography, graphic design, paper marbling, screen-printing, book binding.

My final year dissertation on the self-portraiture of androgynous women explores the powerfulness of self-portraiture in bringing a message of social rebellion and protest.

My works, both theoretical and artistic explore and combine my three great passions:

(1) self-portraiture and cross-dressing;

(2) a never fading mystique and allure of the faith cults;

(3) feminism.

I blend these techniques and passions in my artwork, usually using the most conservative icons of religion and politics, to fight and rebel against conservatism and social injustice.
